A non-alcoholic cocktail created to celebrate the midcentury in style.

2 oz Philters Wiski

1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice

1/2 oz Lyre’s Orange Sec

1/2 oz simple syrup
-
2-3 dashes of Bittercube Bolivar bitters (Please use “SOBERCUBE” for 15% off)

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until well-chilled and strain into a coupe or martini glass. Add a cherry for garnish (Luxardo or Filthy cherries recommended!)

A non-alcoholic sparkling cocktail designed to bubble up at lift-off.Â
1-1/2 oz Philters JynnÂ
3/4 oz freshly squeezed blood orange juice
1 dash Bittercube Blackstrap bitters (Please use “SOBERCUBE” for 15% off)
7-1/2 oz tonic water

Add all ingredients, except tonic, to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until well-chilled and strain into a highball glass half full of ice. Slowly pour the tonic on top. Stir, wait until the bubble-up settles, and top off with more tonic. Enjoy!

Have you ever met someone whose story gave you goosebumps? Maybe someone who took a leap to land somewhere new, to engage with the community, and it led to a story they never imagined. Well, that’s how I felt when I recently chatted with Jason and David Annecy of Gay Fad Studios.
This couple landed in small-town Ohio to start the next chapter of their lives. As a graphic designer, Jason was approached to paint murals in the heart of the downtown. He drew his inspiration from the town’s history as a mecca for glass manufacturing. He had heard the town talk about the past a lot. But he was a bit bothered that the past was always treated as behind them, so far away. He dove further into the glass history and discovered what a presence one woman in particular had in the town. Her name was Fran Taylor, an entrepreneur who started hand-painting metal wastepaper baskets in the 1930s. Read the rest of the article HERE.Â

The Artist & Curator, Kim Parsley lives near Seattle, Washington.
With an education in Interior Design, her career path has led her to fulfill many roles in the field of interior architecture. Now retired, she leverages her design skills towards the curation of vintage travel bars as well as collecting and selling vintage barware.
Kim is also a contributor to multiple magazines including The Sober Curator. Here she writes reviews and articles for the Happy Every Hour section, including non-alcoholic spirit reviews and recipes contributions.
When not in the studio or traveling, she and her husband spend many weekends off-the-grid hiking and experimenting with new cocktails at their cabin in the woods of the North Cascades.
