SoberNotMature – Episode 223 (Rabid Raccoons With Whipped Cream)
byJust a couple of sober guys, talking recovery. Instagram - @sobernotmature
This week we have…
Your pals, Mike and Bill, suiting up and showing up.
Mike started out with his reading and it was about revenge, resentments and lack of control. We talked about the reading itself and it also brought up a few other thoughts. It was a good conversation.
Then we talked about minding our own business, the word alcoholic, George Jefferson, Dave Chappelle and Lenny Kravitz, faith even though we can’t see things, Nikki Sixx, acceptance and some raccoons.
We wrapped up with a Florida woman riding a shopping cart down the highway. Yes, she was intoxicated.
Enjoy the episode.

What Our Fans Are Saying
"I have been listening to Bill and Mike since almost the beginning. They are raw, real, honest and have great recovery! It’s like attending a meeting and helps keep me sober. Their sense of humor and down to earth stories make this podcast terrific to listen to. I look forward to the next episode each week!"
Listener
"How do I describe this podcast? It’s like learning vicariously by eavesdropping on two guys talking about how they are doing with Staying sober through AA. It’s not preachy, strident, nor does it have a bit of desperation like some sober podcasts. “ you better stop or else!!!!” Nope. Just two guys. Unpolished. Talking. I hope it stays that way."
Listener
"While sampling the all-you-can-eat buffet of sober podcasts out there I stumbled upon this one. The name alone drew me in but the two hosts, both long-time sober dudes, both immature, but one decidedly MORE immature than the other, kept me coming back for seconds and thirds. It's a balanced plate of serious recovery stuff, spiced with cussing, generous slices of life and stupid banter that makes me laugh out loud. I just keep coming back for more. I never know WHAT they are going to serve up next, but I know I'll learn something useful to keep me sober. Love you guys!"
