April Burt lives in beautiful Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is a dedicated photographer via Light Journey Photography. April is also neuro-divergent and is learning to embrace this world for all it’s worth.
April is a medical gas technician who services many different hospitals throughout the United States. She travels to places such as Las Vegas, Seattle, San Fransisco, Chattanooga, and many, many more. April loves to meet sober friends along her journeys.
April currently holds two medical gas certifications and is working on her third.

April became fully sober on April 4th, 2021 (how ironic, right?) Covid was very real, and so was the isolation- after a tedious and losing battle to heal a severe concussion, pretty dismal rock bottom, and a very unwelcome “spiritual experience” that went south- she was ready.
Life hasn’t been the same since 
The sober life, photography, and travel are all major parts of her life, and I cannot wait to share them with you.
One small fact- April spent a summer roofing in 2021. As far as she knows, she was the only commercial female roofer in Michigan at the time.
