Submission Guidelines:
To ensure your event is the right fit for The Sober Curatorโs audience, please review our submission guidelines carefully:
Event Type
The event must be alcohol-free and promote a sober-friendly environment. It can be any of the following types:
- Zero-proof
pop-ups, festivals, or markets. - Wellness
and recovery-focused events (yoga, meditation, support groups, sober
sporting events, etc.). - Mocktail-making
workshops or alcohol-free tastings. - Art
shows, sober comedy shows, music performances, or creative gatherings
that do not serve alcohol. - Conferences,
panels, or talks centered around recovery, wellness, or mental health. - Community
service or volunteer events promoting recovery and mental wellness.
Event Location
- Both virtual and in-person events are welcome.
- In-person events should specify the city and venue. We particularly love featuring events in metropolitan cities where the sober movement is thriving. We also feature international events.
Audience
- The event should be inclusive and welcoming to people in or seeking recovery or sobriety, as well as anyone looking to enjoy a night out without alcohol.
- It should foster a sense of community and offer an elevated experience for sober individuals.
Event Lead Time
- We recommend submitting your event at least two weeks in advance to ensure it has enough time to be considered to be featured on our calendar and promoted via social media, podcast, and newsletters.
Content Guidelines
- Please ensure the event description is clear and free from promotional language not relevant to the event. We reserve the right to edit submissions for clarity, tone, and format to align with The Sober Curatorโs voice and mission.
