Janeill is a happily married 57-year old second-generation Washingtonian. She and her husband live a lovingly imperfect life on Camano Island. Janeill is a freelance writer and editor. She is a member of the 50th Anniversary Working Committee for Pilchuck Glass School, where she has been a volunteer, campus docent, and student since 2015. After taking a year to conduct a Mari Kondo-esque analysis of her relationship with alcohol and finding that it no longer served her, Janeill quit drinking on September 2, 2019. She is not in a 12-step program. She is enjoying exploring everything sober life has to offer and is looking forward to sharing her experience along the way.
