Since opening the doors in May of 2023, Beyond the Bar Bottle Shop has hosted several notable events. And has plans to continue bringing us creative reasons to hang out while enjoying the outstanding selection of NA selections. The soft opening was packed with sober and sober curious celebrating a place to find all brands NA. This was followed by the grand opening and afterparty for the City of Richardson’s Sesquicentennial featuring DJ Mark Ridlen, Thaddeus Ford Jazz and Danny Trejo’s new NA Tequila. In July, Beyond the Bar hosted The Kaiduan Kickoff in collaboration with The Asian Film Festival of Dallas. Including a curated cocktail menu, complimentary bites from Monkey King Noodle Company and sounds of the Silk Road.
1960’s Inspired Palm Beach Fashion Show & Brunch
I recently attended the 1960’s inspired Palm Springs Fashion Show & Continental Brunch. Featuring with looks by Ditto Boutique and fabulous curated menu of brunch mocktails and spirits. I went for a class of Lyre’s Classico Sparkling. My friend Sam had the Bloody Mary with Seedlip Garden 108. This was such a fun and spontaneous Sunday afternoon. Groovy tunes, vintage fashion, interesting people, and delicious drinks!
Upcoming Events
The art alley is still being developed. When completed, it will feature murals by local artists and live. outdoor music performances open to all. But for now, it will be used for cool and quirky things like AF Goat Yoga coming up on Aug 20. I have no doubt Beyond the Bar will continue to surprise and delight us with creative ways to enjoy zero proof adult beverages. Be sure to follow them on social for updates.

However, we do not need an event to drop in for a NA drink and casual conversation with like-minded friends. The owners are gracious hosts who love sharing stories and talking about the zero-proof movement. The bar is open daily with featured weekly drinks and tastings. And they just launched their frozen drink machine with the Ritual Zero Proof Rum Peach Daquiri- so YUMMY!
