We bring you our first selfie-care gift guide list! It can be hard to “just be your selfie” when you aren’t feeling like “your selfie”. Regardless of whether you are in the early stages of your sobriety journey or if you’ve been around the sun a few times now, self-care is more important than ever during times like these. (Please don’t make us use the words “unprecedented times” again)

So, whether you want to gift the gift of selfie-care or realize you need some selfie-care for your selfie, here’s our list of top 12 items sure to help you feel a little more like your selfie.

Gift Idea #1: Self Care Bucket List

For that type A person in your life that wants to organize their self-care before they actually just start doing the self-care, we bring you the Self Care Bucket List box from Uncommongoods. It’s time to be kind to you!

You’re a deep breather, vegetable eater, and yoga twice-a-weeker. But we could all use a gentle reminder to make personal healing and growth a daily priority. That’s where the Self Care Bucket List comes in handy.

The deck is filled with 100 helpful, self-love suggestions broken out into 3 main categories: life, love, and laughter. You’ll be prompted to do things like decluttering your social media, set aside “unplug” time, and keep a list of compliments you’ve been given. A thoughtful gift to bring out the best in us, the practices will stick with loved ones for a lifetime.

Gift Idea #2: Wishing Ball

This hand-blown glass ball we found on Uncommongoods is a unique way to treasure your weekly wishes or thoughts of gratitude.

The story:

Where do wishes go once you make them? Their force for good travels out into the universe in ways we don’t understand, but what if you could keep a piece behind as a special reminder of that magic?

Glass artist Jill Henrietta Davis has conjured up a way to do just that. Each shimmering ball of hand-blown, blue glass comes with 52 tiny slips of paper for you to pause once a week throughout the year and record a message of hope or gratitude. Coil them up and tuck them in the tiny hole near the base and they become a permanent part of the display.

People often ask Jill why the wishes can’t come back out, and her explanation can be summed up with birthday candles. “When you blow out your candles, you don’t tell the wish you made, otherwise it won’t come true,” says Jill. “But more importantly, memories are always more beautiful than photographs, and the same is true of wishes. When you look at the little slips of paper accumulating in your Wishing Ball, I want you to think about the Big Picture those messages convey. Rereading the notes would be like looking backward, or trying to step in the same river twice.”

Gift Idea #3: 2021 Magic of I from The Mystic Parlor

We’re all pretty much done with 2020, am I right? The Mystic Parlor is excited to get the 2021 Magic of I planners on pre-order to rush in the next year, which in numerology is the Heirophant (5) year. This is pretty much the only Astrological planner you will ever need.

Gift Idea #4: The Savvy Tech and Gamer Gift Set

How cute are these gamers pamper bath bombs? For the tech nerd in your life that needs to chill the bleep out, these handmade bath bombs are sure to surprise and delight from a maker we found on Etsy.

Gift Idea #5: Enchanted Spell Oracle

We call this one mystical selfie-care. Use your intuition and be guided by the natural wisdom of the medieval world with these 36 unique illuminated cards and the accompanying book from the Mystic Parlor. Brimming with botanical information, symbolic meaning, and kitchen magick, allow the divine priestesses to help you create the life you want through bewitching recipes, rituals, and spells.

Gift Idea #6: Herbivore Calm Experience Gift

This is the perfect gift for any calm occasion. Turn to soothing skincare treasures by Herbivore Botanicals and surprise someone with this luxurious bath gift set. Herbivore’s hydrating, calming bath. All products are suitable for all skin types.

Gift Idea #7: License To Chill Set

Stress is a relentless, powerful feeling that impacts all areas of life, from our skin, digestion, sleep, mood, and engagement with others. This meticulously curated License to Chill set proactively addresses the origins of our stress response. You’ll feel calmer, think more clearly, and sleep more soundly.

Gift Idea #8: Oh FLUFF YEAH!

Our favorite style of the season, the Fluff Yeah from UGG, is as good as it sounds. It combines slipper and sandal into a cozy statement shoe. Featuring soft sheepskin and a lightweight platform to keep things airy, this standout slide pairs perfectly with midi dresses or your favorite jeans.

Gift Idea #9: Aromatherapy Mist Variety Set

Curated aromatherapy at your fingertips from Asutra. 33% savings vs. buying separately. Crafted from essential oils, their aromatherapy mist sprays help to lift your mood any time of the day or night—whether you need an energy boost or want to unwind. Their variety set includes all six aromatherapy blends—try them all or send them as a special gift.

Gift Idea #10: HAPPYLIGHT® LUXE

Introducing the new HappyLight® Luxe light therapy lamp by Verilux. It features adjustable color, temperature, and a countdown timer that allows you to personalize your experience. Winter is coming! Plug it in and get happy!

Gift Idea #11: Snoop Dogg Celebrity Prayer Candle

With this celebrity prayer candle from The Urban General Store, you can still chill with your favorite D-O Double GG. It’s unscented, made in Texas, and does not include anything you can light besides the candle itself.

Gift Idea #12: THE MIRROR

Mirror, mirror on the wall, ’tis the season to shake it all! This isn’t just a mirror. It’s a cardio class, it’s a yoga studio, it’s a boxing ring, it’s your new personal trainer, and it’s so much more. There’s a 30-day risk-free trial, and there are bound to be holiday discounts anytime you check the Mirror site.
