Skims Vibes, Therapy Receipts: The Sister-Founded Brand That Stole the Show at OCDcon 2026

The exhibit hall at a mental health conference is a gauntlet of brochures, stress balls, fidget spinners, and lanyards you will never wear again. Amy Liz Harrison and I hit the floor at OCD Con 2026 in Seattle this July with our expectations set to “free pens.”

Then we saw the Presently booth and stopped like cartoon characters hitting an invisible wall.

Picture a palette of neutral nudes so soft and intentional that it was giving full Skims energy. I say that as a compliment, and I say it as someone who has kept up with the Kardashians. (Every single episode, go ahead and judge me. I deserve it.) The bracelets, the keychain wristlets, the little mirror decals — all of it looked like it belonged in a boutique next to a $65 candle, not on a folding table at a conference center. Amy and I fell in love at first sight. Reader, we shopped. We took their quiz that helped us decide what to buy, and then we just kept buying.

The merch is the least interesting thing about Presently, and the merch is really (really) good. So buckle up.

Two Sisters, Zero “Good Vibes Only”

Presently is the work of Lindsay and Emily Stetzer, sisters who both live with OCD. Lindsay was diagnosed back in 2005, after years of intrusive thoughts that spiraled into existential territory. Emily was diagnosed in 2016 after college, once she figured out that what she assumed was garden-variety anxiety was actually OCD with mostly mental compulsions. Same family, same diagnosis, two totally different flavors of it. OCD is fun like that.

Both sisters did the real work: therapy, exposure, medication, all of it. And somewhere along the way they noticed a problem with the mantra jewelry market. It was drowning in “good vibes only” energy, which is exactly the kind of toxic positivity that makes anyone with an actual anxiety disorder want to throw the bracelet into the sea.

So they built something better. Every phrase in the Presently line comes from cognitive behavioral therapy, the evidence-based stuff their own therapists taught them. As the sisters put it, these reminders come with their therapists’ stamp of approval. Not an influencer’s. A licensed professional’s. That distinction is the whole business.

    The Phrases Actually Mean Something

The core line is built around six reminders: “I let go of what I can’t control.” “Brave the uncomfortable.” “I am separate from my mind.” “It’s okay to feel how I feel.” “Embrace uncertainty.” “My thoughts are passing clouds.”

If you have spent any time in recovery rooms, you just felt a jolt of recognition. Swap out a word or two and that list could be taped to the wall of any 12-step clubhouse in America. Letting go of what we can’t control? We have an entire prayer about that. Sitting with discomfort instead of numbing it? That is literally the assignment.

Emily’s favorite is “my thoughts are passing clouds” — the reminder that you can watch an intrusive thought float by without inviting it in for coffee. Lindsay’s is “embrace uncertainty,” which is essentially exposure therapy on a wrist. These are not decorations. They are tools the sisters actually used to get their lives back, shrunk down into something you can grab in the middle of a spiral.

    The Goods

The bracelets come in chain, beaded, nylon, and macrame styles, in that neutral palette I will not stop talking about, and they are stainless steel and water-resistant, so your coping skills survive the shower. The keychain wristlets run about $20, and the mirror decals — the window clings that hooked Amy and me at the booth — are five bucks. Five dollars to have “I am separate from my mind” staring back at you while you brush your teeth. Cheaper than a latte and arguably more effective before a hard day.

Presently also gives 5% of bracelet sales to nonprofit mental health partners, because of course they do.

    Why This Belongs Here

Anxiety, OCD, and addiction love to travel as a pack. Plenty of us drank at our racing thoughts for years before we found better tools. And the entire Presently philosophy — meeting discomfort with intention instead of avoidance — is recovery in one sentence.

What the Stetzer sisters built is the opposite of wellness fluff. It is lived experience turned into a business, by two women who went through the hard thing, took notes, and made the notes wearable. That is exactly the kind of company we hype on purpose around here.

Go to presentlybracelets.com and get the clings. DM me and let me know what you bought. I’m currently two keychains and two mirror clings in. Amy, on the other hand, bought in bulk. That said, she does have eight kids ranging in ages from 6 – 26, and she is not wrong that the Presently keychains and mirror clings make the perfect stocking stuffers.

Amy Liz Harrison, taking her bow, after she bought one of everything.

    What is Presently Bracelets?

Presently is a mental health merch brand that makes bracelets, keychain wristlets, and mirror decals featuring phrases rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy. Instead of “good vibes only” fluff, every reminder comes from evidence-based tools the founders learned in their own OCD treatment.

    Who founded Presently?

Sisters Lindsay and Emily Stetzer, who both live with OCD. Lindsay was diagnosed in 2005 and Emily in 2016, and they built Presently around the coping tools that actually worked for them, with their therapists’ stamp of approval.

What phrases are on Presently bracelets?

The core line features six CBT-inspired reminders: “I let go of what I can’t control,” “Brave the uncomfortable,” “I am separate from my mind,” “It’s okay to feel how I feel,” “Embrace uncertainty,” and “My thoughts are passing clouds.”

How much do Presently products cost?

Mirror decals start at $5, keychain wristlets run about $20, and bracelets range up to $48 for the Figaro chain style. The bracelets are stainless steel and water-resistant, so they hold up to daily wear.

    Does Presently give back?

Yes. Presently donates 5% of bracelet sales to nonprofit mental health partners.

Why is a sobriety site covering an OCD brand?

Because anxiety, OCD, and addiction frequently show up together, and the recovery skill sets overlap. Meeting discomfort with intention instead of avoidance is the core of both the Presently philosophy and the sober life. Tools that are grounded in actual therapy, not wellness fluff, are exactly what our readers ask us for.
