In a recent episode of “Wellness as a Way of Life,” I had the pleasure of welcoming Alli Eldridge, a remarkable woman who made the courageous decision to leave her corporate career and pave a new path as a life transformation coach. Alli’s story is not just about leaving corporate; it’s a journey of self-discovery, addressing anxiety and reshaping her life to align with her true passion.
After more than a decade in the corporate world, Alli found herself juggling the demands of being a new mother, striving to maintain family health and meeting the rigorous requirements of her full-time job. Despite her success in climbing the corporate ladder at a Fortune 500 company, and seemingly having the perfect family life, Alli realized it was time to reevaluate her priorities. The stress of trying to fit parenting, family and work into a tight schedule became simply overwhelming.
Alli’s story is relatable for many women who feel the pressure of corporate life while dealing with the intricacies of motherhood. In our conversation, she candidly shared her internal struggle, the anxiety she faced and the moment she decided that there had to be another way — part of the “other way” was quitting alcohol. Alli’s childhood dream was to be a stay-at-home mom, inspired by the wonderful memories of having her own mom around. Although life took her on a different path initially, becoming a parent reignited Alli’s desire for more flexibility and freedom — hello, entrepreneurship!
In October 2023, Alli had a catalyst moment that prompted her to transform her life. She embraced the clarity that came with quitting alcohol and attended a life-changing workshop about finding her purpose. It became evident that she was meant to help other women who are struggling with similar stresses, guiding them towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.
Now, as a life transformation coach, Alli works with women to help them navigate their own journeys away from the corporate world. Her approach is about exploring the middle ground between corporate and stay-at-home motherhood — helping women discover a lifestyle that provides freedom, creativity and personal fulfillment.
