April 2024 Sober Horoscopes: Analisa Six Astrological Insights

Hi Sober Warriors!

Analisa Six here to bring you the Astrology forecast and Horoscopes for the month of April.

I am sad to say that April is not an easy month. However, the work that is required of us and the challenges we endure this month will set us up for success come May if we humble ourselves and heed the call towards internal growth that is being asked of us during this turbulent transitional period.

We start this chaotic month with Mercury stationing retrograde on April 1st at 27 degrees in the cardinal fire sign of Aries. Mercury retrogrades are a time for reflection and give us an opportunity to change our minds and course correct in ways we may or may not be expecting.

Venus leaves the mutable waters of Pisces and enters the Aries party on April 4th. She will remain there until the 29th when she eventually makes her way into the fixed earth sign of Taurus. With Venus in Aries, we may feel some major healing happening around our ego identity during all of this turbulent Mercury energy. Relationship to self is a major theme for the entire month of April.

April 8th we have a Solar Eclipse at 19 degrees of Aries that is making a conjunction to Chiron. This will bring up repressed wounds around identity expression and force us to look in the mirror and find out what we need to heal in order to move more confidently within ourselves moving forward.

Mars will be in Pisces for the entire month of April, hanging out with Saturn and Neptune kicking up some dust around how we connect to ourselves on a deeper level spiritually. This can be a triggering time for addicts as Pisces rules alcohol and escapism through substance abuse. Channel the need for escapism by leaning into spiritual practices like meditation, dream work, or artistic projects like songwriting, poetry, or painting.

The Sun enters Taurus on April 19th, bringing us into a more grounded territory that will be welcomed much more after such an active and turbulent start to the month. Happy birthday to all of the April Taurus babies out there; it is finally your time to shine!

April 23rd, we will have a full Moon at 4 degrees of Scorpio. This is a great moon for letting go and releasing energy that no longer serves us. We may feel that everything that has come up for us during the retrograde cycle enabled us to do some deep inner work and reflection that was much needed, but now we are ready to release it and move on.

April 25th Mercury stations direct at 15 degrees of Aries aiding us in pushing things forward now that we feel more clear on what we are taking with us and leaving behind for the month ahead.

Wishing you all the best of luck in April!

xoxo
