On Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026, an evening dedicated to women’s voices, personal recovery and purpose-driven connection is coming to the Inlet Theatre in Port Moody, British Columbia.
Launching HER will celebrate the debut of HER: Heal. Empower. Recover., a new podcast created for women investing in their healing, stepping into their leadership and figuring out what comes next.
Because apparently healing and ambition are allowed to sit at the same table now. We love to see it.
The event will also raise funds for SHE RECOVERS, turning a podcast launch into an opportunity to support a much larger community of women and non-binary individuals navigating recovery from substance use, trauma, mental health challenges, grief, burnout and other life experiences.
SHE RECOVERS is a global grassroots nonprofit committed to redefining recovery, inspiring hope, ending stigma and helping people build the resources, relationships and support they need to heal. Its community now serves more than 325,000 women and non-binary individuals worldwide.
Every event ticket and sponsorship will help support the organization’s recovery-focused programming and the people it serves.
More Than a Podcast Launch
Hosted by Brooke Redelle Robichaud, Launching HER is designed for founders, creatives, coaches and community builders — particularly women who understand that healing is not separate from leadership.
Sometimes it is the reason we are finally able to lead.
The evening will bring together storytelling, comedy, podcasting and community for an experience that is equal parts meaningful and celebratory. Guests can expect genuine conversations without the awkward networking ritual of clutching a warm glass of white wine while pretending to remember someone’s name.
Instead, doors will open with connection and delicious non-alcoholic drinks provided by Bevees Booze-Free Bottle Shop.
Based in the Greater Vancouver area, Bevees offers a wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages and operates a dedicated booze-free bottle shop and beverage room. Its mission is not anti-alcohol but pro-choice: giving people sophisticated options when they want to socialize or celebrate without drinking.
Every guest will receive a complimentary non-alcoholic drink from Bevees during the event.
Comedy, Conversation and a Live Podcast Recording
After the opening reception, guests will move into the theatre for a program featuring comedy, a podcasting panel and a live recording of HER: Heal. Empower. Recover.
The show’s title captures the larger purpose behind the podcast:
Heal. Empower. Recover.
Not necessarily in a perfectly organized order. Healing rarely respects a neat three-step process.
The live recording will mark the beginning of a platform centered on honest conversations about personal growth, resilience, recovery and the courage required to create a new chapter. Rather than presenting healing as a finished product, HER will explore what it looks like to keep becoming — publicly, imperfectly and with community beside you.
The podcasting panel will also offer insight into using your voice, sharing meaningful stories and creating media that connects with people rather than simply adding more noise to an already crowded internet.
Photos, Gift Bags and Serious Door Prizes
Guests can document the evening at a photo booth provided by Moonlit Memories, because if you put on real pants and leave the house for a meaningful event, photographic evidence feels appropriate.
The first 25 people through the door will also receive a gift bag filled with items from event sponsors and Redelle Creative Studio.
Door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening, including a complete podcast coaching package from Podcast Impact Studio.
Podcast Impact Studio works with purpose-driven entrepreneurs, founders, authors, healthcare professionals and community builders to develop more authentic voices and stronger podcasts. Its services include host development, voice strategy, coaching and full-service audio and video production.
In other words, one guest may arrive thinking, “Maybe I should start a podcast someday,” and leave without any remaining excuses.
Healing Gets Stronger in Community
Launching HER reflects something the recovery community has always known: transformation may be personal, but it does not have to be solitary.
A room filled with people who are building businesses, creating art, supporting communities and recovering from the experiences that shaped them can become more than a networking event. It can become evidence.
Evidence that healing does not make a person less ambitious.
Evidence that recovery does not require disappearing.
Evidence that telling the truth about where we have been can help us decide where we are going next.
SHE RECOVERS was built around the belief that no one should have to recover alone. Its programs include online gatherings, identity-based support groups, local chapters, sharing circles, educational programs and other recovery resources.
Launching HER carries that belief onto the stage — with laughter, alcohol-free drinks, brave conversations and a brand-new microphone.
