Gruvi, originally out of Ontario, can now be found perusing the streets of Denver, Colorado. This brand is a unique non-alcoholic beverage maker in the way that it does not just stick to one thing. Gruvi spreads its NA love far and wide, not only offering a wide variety of beers, from pale ales to stouts to Weiss but also offering a number of different non-alcoholic wines, including prosecco and rose. This week, though, we will be diving into their pale ale.
How Does it Pour?
Gruviโs pale ale comes as you would expect: full of caramel color with a ripe stench of backroom British pubs. Sticking to a classic recipe, Gruvi gives you that skunky aroma of malt and hops right off the creamy head. The look and the smell is nothing short of classic, so for those seeking a pale ale in the tradition of jolly old London, this is a great place to start.

How Does it Taste?
As far as flavor goes, Gruvi delivers in the same way too. Gruviโs Pale Ale comes out of the glass and into your face hole with the balance only struck by people in long-term happy marriages. The malts, hops, barley, yeast, fruit flies (scratch that last one) all play off each other to create a perfect taste that can honestly only be described as the way beer is supposed to taste. Itโs heavy in the mouth and creates a coating of hops that lingers, but stays in check with the other flavors happening.
As far as reviews go, the consensus is good! Gruviโs Pale Ale gets a 3.3 out of 5 on Untappd, and as a faithful NA beer drinker, myself, I give it four snuggles and a choo choo train (this means I love it). Donโt take my word for it, though! Go try it yourself, and if you find yourself in the Denver area, go sample all they have to offer and even get the fabled draft A beer. Stay cool. Be Gruvi.
