Best Day Brewing comes to us once again from Sausalito, California, bringing another tropical twist to their nonalcoholic lineup. Best Day Brewing has shown that they aren’t afraid to experiment with familiar beer styles and throw some fruity fun into the mix. From crisp pilsners to hop-heavy IPAs, Best Day Brewing continues to give the sober community plenty of options for keeping the face hole happy without the booze.
This week we are drinking Endless Mango IPA from Best Day Brewing. As the name suggests, this is a Mango IPA, so expectations are pretty straightforward: you want the tropical sweetness of mango to mingle with the bitterness and bite of a good IPA. Best Day Brewing pours this one a beautiful copper color, while the aroma coming out of the can and into my scent center is a combination of tropical fruit and hops. Right away, the sniffy holes are getting a little something sweet and a little something hoppy, which has me expecting a full-flavored fruit-and-hop fiesta.
Best Day Brewing absolutely delivers on that expectation, and then some. The mango comes charging into the flavor funnel with the same strength as the hops, and both flavors coat your entire face hole with a full, heavy body that somehow remains remarkably crushable. You get mango, you get hops, you get the whole dang flavor fiesta. It’s a little bit of a mango melee, a hoppy heavyweight, and a full-flavored fruit frenzy all at once. Best Day Brewing has managed to make this one heavy in all the right ways without making it feel like a chore to drink. Honestly, the only thing that could make this better for my personal taste would be a little spice to add another layer to the tropical party.
Untappd gives Endless Mango IPA from Best Day Brewing a 3.7 out of 5. I am going considerably higher with a 4.8 out of 5 because Best Day Brewing has damn near perfected the Mango IPA with this one. The mango and hops are perfectly matched, the full-bodied flavor is fantastic, and somehow this beast remains incredibly crushable. If you’re a mango fan, this is one to seek out. My thoughts are my own, of course, but if your taste buds are anything like mine, you might just find yourself hitting mango hop heaven.
