Part of Team XII’s mission is to help other artists and business owners in recovery succeed. Pretty cool, right? Team XII carries a passionate vision for the future of the brand and the recovery community they serve. Here are the goals set for 2021.
TEAM XII Goals
1.) Become a Non-profit Organization
Our supporters have already shown their generosity through donations which help keep our doors open and vision alive. We want the ability to offer something in return by making the donations tax-deductible. This is one benefit of obtaining a 501(c)(3) non-profit status. In addition, a non-profit status would allow us to obtain grants and other funding which we would use to expand our services and touch more lives.
2.) A New Location
We love our little shop in Pasadena, but we are outgrowing it quickly! Ever since the first meeting took place on our rooftop, we realized that the recovery community truly desired a place to gather for in-person meetings. We are beginning to work towards obtaining a bigger location so we can accommodate a greater number of people for meetings and other sober events.
3.) Increase Clothing Donations
There is a true joy in gifting a t-shirt to a newcomer in sobriety. In 2020, we were able to donate just over $3,000 worth of clothing and we plan to increase this number exponentially during 2021. We hope to expand our reach by connecting with more treatment centers and other community organizations. If you are part of any such organization, brand, or facility – please reach out to us!
Did someone say Sober Merch?!?!?
#ADDTOCART is my cardio and I love checking out new brands, especially when the proceeds benefit a great cause. Team XII, located in sunny Pasadena, CA has some pretty dope merch and is building an awesome community where those seeking a sober lifestyle can gather. They currently hold a non-denominational recovery meeting every Friday at 8 pm PST. You can check out their site HERE for more dets to get the zoom link, IG Live link, or in-person location. (Note: Face Masks are currently required and social distancing guidelines need to be respected)
Team XII is home to the Grounded Phoenix podcast where we film the stories of men and women who have overcome an addiction or other mental health battle. The purpose is to expand awareness of these types of afflictions and spread a message of hope and recovery. If you have the experience to share, please contact them! They would love to have you.
Nearly every aspect of Team XII is produced in-house. They possess over 10 years of experience in garment printing, graphic design, web design, photography, and just about anything in between. I’ve been following this recovery account on Instagram for a while now and I really dig the mission that they are all living into. When I checked out their merch a few weeks back, I decided to treat myself to a new hat (The Camo XII Snapback) and the Black Team XII Hoodie. My order arrived about a week later and I’m happy to report the quality of both items is solid. Plus, they included two of their stickers with a little thank you note. I’m a sucker for both things. Hey TEAM XII – can you do a gal a solid and let me know when the Floral Print Cap comes back in stock? I’m going to need to add that one to my hat collection.
