SoberScopes_ The Horoscope for Sober Souls _ December 15 - 30

    The Year of Letting Go

2025 was a year of endings, revisions and do-overs. Relationships dissolved, plans crumbled, reversals forced new directions—but it was also a year of ideation, collaboration, and trying things out.

Frustrating as it was for many, that wasn’t the intention. The dissolution and the delays both served a purpose – to support you in releasing what no longer serves and point you to clarity.

Now, in these final weeks, pause. Honor what you’ve survived, what you’ve released, and what you’ve been quietly preparing.

    2026: A Different Energy Entirely

By March, everything shifts—it’s time to act. The universe accelerates. Launch. Get in the game. 2026 is the year of activation, not revision. Expect speed as you’ve never felt before.

But first, these last two weeks matter.

New Moon in Sagittarius December 19th: Faith as Fuel

    This New Moon asks:

What do you believe in? Where have you stopped trusting yourself, your recovery, your path forward?

Set an intention anchored in faith—not blind optimism, but deep knowing. Check your rising sign below to see which life area is primed for this renewal. Plant seeds there.

Winter Solstice (December 21): The Turn Toward Light

The shortest day. Ancient cultures knew this threshold as sacred—when the veil thins and messages arrive from realms beyond ordinary consciousness.

They weren’t escaping reality; they were receiving guidance for it.

As the sun sails into Capricorn, take time to tune in. Journal. Meditate. Listen. The wisdom that comes through during this pause will fuel your 2026 launch.

    Happy Birthday, Capricorn

December 21st. Of course, the day with the least sunlight would mark the beginning of Capricorn Season—the archetype that can go without, that endures and moves steadily onward, eyes fixed on the goal ahead.

The Goat climbs. It’s skilled, disciplined, unstoppable. We all carry this archetype—the part of us that gets shit done.

But here’s Capricorn’s shadow: climbing the wrong mountain. Proving capability in service of someone else’s vision and achieving goals that don’t feed your soul.

As Capricorn season begins, ask yourself: Is this my mountain? Does this summit actually matter to me?

Because 2026 is coming fast. Make sure you’re aiming at something real.

By Rising Sign: Where to Focus Your New Moon Intention & Capricorn Commitment

    Aries Rising

New Moon Intention: Expand your vision. What belief system, teaching, or journey calls you? Set an intention around higher learning, travel, or finding your next guiding philosophy. Your faith needs room to grow beyond familiar territory.

Capricorn Commitment: Your career and public reputation demand pragmatic focus. What mountain are you climbing in your work life? Make sure it’s yours. Commit to one concrete step weekly that builds your authority and visibility.

    Taurus Rising

New Moon Intention: Trust the transformation. Set intentions around deep healing, shared resources, or psychological rebirth. Where do you need faith in processes you can’t control? Believe in your power to rise from endings.

Capricorn Commitment: Your worldview needs structure. Commit to learning something that expands your perspective—formal education, spiritual study, or that long-delayed journey. Choose one area and show up consistently.

    Gemini Rising

New Moon Intention: Relationships require faith—in others and in yourself. Set intentions around partnership, collaboration, or who you want to become within the relationship. Trust your ability to show up authentically with another.

Capricorn Commitment: Deep work isn’t optional. Face what you’ve avoided—therapy, financial planning, shadow integration, intimacy. Commit to one transformational practice and stay with it even when uncomfortable.

    Cancer Rising

New Moon Intention: Daily rituals shape your reality. Set intentions around health, work routines, or service. Trust that small, consistent actions create transformation. Your body and daily habits deserve sacred attention.

Capricorn Commitment: Relationships require discipline, not just feelings. Whether in a romantic partnership or a business collaboration, commit to showing up with maturity and structure. Define what you want, communicate boundaries, put in the work.

    Leo Rising

New Moon Intention: Your creative expression and joy are spiritual acts. Set intentions around art, romance, play, or whatever makes you feel most alive. Trust that your unique gifts matter and you deserve to be seen.

Capricorn Commitment: Health and daily discipline create the foundation for everything else. Commit to routines that serve your body and energy—sleep, movement, nutrition, work habits. One non-negotiable daily practice.

    Virgo Rising

New Moon Intention: Home and emotional foundation need renewal. Set intentions around family healing, creating a sanctuary, or honoring your roots. Trust that you deserve emotional safety and belonging.

Capricorn Commitment: Joy requires discipline. Commit to creative expression, romance, or play with the same seriousness you bring to work. Schedule it. Protect it. What brings you alive? Do it consistently.

    Libra Rising

New Moon Intention: Your voice and ideas deserve space. Set intentions around communication, learning, or local connections. Trust that your perspective matters and your curiosity leads somewhere real.

Capricorn Commitment: Build your foundation—literal home or emotional roots. Create stability and sanctuary with pragmatic effort. Whether it’s physical space, family relationships, or internal security, show up with patient determination.

    Scorpio Rising

New Moon Intention: Your worth isn’t negotiable. Set intentions around money, resources, or self-value. Trust your ability to generate abundance and recognize your inherent worth. You are the resource.

Capricorn Commitment: Communication and learning demand discipline. Commit to the writing, the course, the difficult conversations, and the daily practice of clear thinking. What skill or knowledge needs consistent development?

    Sagittarius Rising

New Moon Intention: You’re being reborn. Set intentions for who you’re becoming—your identity, body, presence, path forward. Trust yourself, exactly as you are and as you’re evolving. This is your cosmic reset button.

Capricorn Commitment: Money and resources require grown-up attention. Build financial stability with disciplined effort. Budget. Save. Charge what you’re worth. Commit to one concrete financial practice and maintain it.

    Capricorn Rising

New Moon Intention: The invisible realm holds answers. Set intentions around rest, dreams, spiritual practice, or releasing what you can’t see but feel. Trust the unseen forces supporting you and the wisdom in mystery.

Capricorn Commitment: You. Your identity, your body, your presence, your path—all require your full commitment. Show up for yourself with the same discipline you give everyone else. Who are you becoming? This is your year to build yourself.

    Aquarius Rising

New Moon Intention: Your community and vision for the future need faith. Set intentions around friendship, networks, or collective dreams. Trust your place in the larger web. Your contribution to the whole matters.

Capricorn Commitment: Rest and spiritual practice aren’t optional. Commit to the unseen work—therapy, meditation, dream journaling, solitude. Discipline your inner life with the same rigor you bring to outer achievements.

    Pisces Rising

New Moon Intention: Your calling and public contribution deserve faith. Set intentions around career, visibility, or legacy. Trust that your work matters and you’re meant to be seen. The world needs what you offer.

Capricorn Commitment: Community and networks require structure. Show up for your people, invest in collaboration, and create the community you want to be part of. Friendship and collective vision need your pragmatic effort.
