From the fabled land of Ireland comes the traditional dark, dry Irish stout we’ve all come to know over the years. Guinness is finally available as a non-alcoholic beer and even more exciting, it’s available in the U.S.!

Guinness 0 (Zero) was first launched in Ireland in October of 2020, but had to be recalled due to ‘potential contamination’. Its relaunch was in June of 2021, with most people speculating that Guinness wouldn’t be in the U.S. until spring/summer of 2022. Imagine the thrill of the NA community when these 14.9 oz. cans started showing their faces in stores in February of 2022.
How Does It Taste?
If you’ve ever had a Guinness before, there’s not a whole lot to say in this review, because it’s the exact same beer. They really did everything in their power and perfected the recipe to make the exact same beer. Guinness 0 looks, tastes, and pours like a normal Guinness. The nitro can fills your glass with those cool waves of nitrogen and then the creamy, dry Irish stout hits all of the same roasted malt notes you’re used to as you swig it down your gullet.
Untappd gives Guinness 0 a 3.1 out of 5, but considering the normal version of this tasty treat gets a 3.7, you can see they are not too far apart in overall likeness.
At the end of the day, if you liked Guinness before, you will like Guinness 0. If you’ve never had a Guinness before, then try this out and see what all the hubbaloo is about!

According to the Guinness website, it’s NOT available in the US
Thank you for your comment, George! I think that’s just an update error on their end. It has been sold out of New York stores, as well as the Binny’s chain across the midwest, and was recently spotted in Seattle! There are a number of great Non-alcoholic beer groups to join on Facebook that will keep you in the loop on this. Good luck hunting!
