Natural Bridges Kolsch By Surreal Brewing

We are joined once again by our beer friends from the west coast, Surreal Brewing. A brewery that prides itself on brewing the healthiest beers available. Challenge accepted! Sounds like Surreal Brewing is going to give Athletic Brewing a run for their money.

This week, we are drinking Natural Bridges Kolsch from Surreal Brewing, and I am very excited about this because you don’t see this style in the craft NA world. You may get something similar from one of the German breweries who do countless NA beers, but having this from a craft NA brewery like Surreal Brewing is a real treat.

How Does It Pour?

The pour is as you would expect. Golden color with a crisp white head. It’s a little on the darker side of the spectrum, but just like darker than a Bud Light, not like as dark as an IPA. Well, maybe some IPAs. Either way, Surreal Brewing delivers on this perfectly poured masterpiece.

How Does It Taste?

The next promise that Surreal Brewing delivers on is their description of a light, crisp finish. The beer hits your mouth, and while there are light hints of malt, it’s barely there, and the beer presents as an easy-drinking lager, almost. It’s very clean and has a light mouth feel. This is the kind of brew you could drink all day and not feel bad about it, not only cause you wouldn’t feel filled up, but with Surreal Brewing’s promise of healthy beers, it only has 17 calories!

Untappd gives Surreal Brewing’s Kolsch a 2.8 out of 5, but I would rate this one higher with the clean, crisp finish and the nice light mouth feel. As usual, I encourage you to find one and try it yourself!
