There is a very specific hour of the day that belongs to the sober person.
It’s somewhere between 5 and 7pm. The sun starts doing that thing where everything goes warm and gold. Your neighbors are pouring something cold on their back porches. The bar down the street is an hour deep into happy hour. Every restaurant on the block is doing the low lighting and the clinking glasses and the ritual.
For a lot of people in recovery, this is the hardest hour of the day.
It’s the hour that used to mean something. It’s the hour that your body still remembers, even when your brain has moved on. It’s the hour that fills with a low hum of “I used to.” And it has been, historically, one of the most dangerous hours in a sober person’s day, because not having something to do with your hands at 6pm is how people end up doing things they don’t want to do by 9pm.
We named our signature mocktail recipe collection after that hour on purpose.
Welcome to The Golden Hour Recipe Cards Series.

What It Is
The Golden Hour Recipe Cards are our signature line of non-alcoholic drinks, developed and styled and turned into beautiful, tangible things. It’s part recipe series, part art series, part love letter to the hour of the day that sober people have had to figure out how to repossess.
Every drink in the collection comes with three pieces:
- The recipe article. Full write-up on the drink, the history, the NA brands we actually recommend, the batch version for a party, the FAQ.
- The recipe card. A beautifully designed digital download, formatted to print at home or save to your phone.
- The matching art print. Original artwork created through AI image generation, directed by us with the same editorial eye we bring to everything we publish. Designed to live on a wall. Kitchen, bar cart, gallery wall, office, home office, powder room, wherever a moment needs marking.
A quick note on the art: every print in this collection was created using AI image generation, built from extensive creative direction on our end. We treated it the way we treat all our editorial work — with intention, aesthetic standards, and a very specific vision for what golden hour actually looks and feels like. We think the result is something worth hanging. You can decide for yourself.
You can own all three pieces. You can own one. You can screenshot the recipe and keep scrolling. No pressure, no hierarchy. We just wanted you to have options.

Golden Hour Collection: The Drinks
Here are the seven drinks in the collection, with full recipes published and waiting for you.

The Nojito
All the mint. All the lime. All the bubbles. None of the morning after.
The gateway mocktail. The one that converts sober-curious friends the fastest. It works with or without NA rum, which is part of why it’s on the list. Bright, cold, and aggressively refreshing in a way that makes you wonder why you ever needed the rum in the first place.

The Cosno
Hot pink. Cold glass. The drink that walks into the room before you do.
Our non-alcoholic Cosmopolitan, built for the coupe glass loyalists who always knew it wasn’t really about the vodka anyway. Tart cranberry, fresh citrus, a splash of NA spirit if you want it. It tastes like confidence and looks like a statement. Made for the person who never needed alcohol to be the most interesting one at the table.

The Faux Fashioned
All the amber. All the ritual. None of the morning after.
The hardest classic to get right without alcohol, which is why we spent the most time on it. We’re talking bitters, a quality NA whiskey, a good orange peel, and patience. Stirred, not shaken. One large ice cube. Non-negotiable. This is the drink for the person who misses the ceremony more than the buzz.

One Day at a Lime
Same wisdom. Better glass. Salt rim non-negotiable.
Our non-alcoholic margarita, named with the best pun ever made in recovery. Fresh lime, a quality NA tequila, orange, and a tajín or salt rim that makes the whole thing sing. If the phrase “one day at a time” has done heavy lifting in your life, this one is for you. Drink it slowly. You’ve earned it.

The NA Negroni
Equal parts gorgeous. Zero parts regret.
Here’s what most people don’t know: the Negroni’s botanical architecture doesn’t actually need alcohol to work. The bitter, the sweet, the herbal complexity — it’s all still there when you build it right. Ours uses NA spirits that hold their own, and the result is the kind of drink that makes people lean in and ask what’s in it. The most surprising non-alcoholic translation we’ve ever made, and the one we’re most proud of.

The Velvet NA Spritz
Bougainvillea. Blood orange. Golden hour. Non-alcoholic.
Aperitivo hour, reclaimed. Big stemmed wine glass, large ice cubes, blood orange wheel, rosemary. This is the drink that makes your whole living room feel like a terrace in Italy at 6pm on a Tuesday. Light, floral, and just bitter enough to feel sophisticated. The one you make when you want the ritual of aperitivo hour without any of the aftermath.

Hot Girl Hydration
Deep magenta. Zero regrets. The prettiest drink at the party.
Hibiscus, fresh grapefruit, tajín rim, and more antioxidants than most of your groceries. This one is cold and tart and a little spicy and genuinely stunning in a glass. It tastes like summer and looks like something you’d pay $18 for at a rooftop bar. Hydration is a personality trait and this is the uniform.

Why Recipe Cards Belong in a Sober Home
There is something genuinely therapeutic about having a physical, beautiful recipe card taped inside your cabinet door, saved on your phone, or framed on your bar cart. It’s a small thing that does a lot.
It tells you what to make when your brain forgets that you already know how to do this. It gives you structure at the exact moment your body wants a ritual. It turns the 6pm hour into something you look forward to instead of something you survive.
And when you print it and hang it on a wall, it does something else entirely. It signals to anyone who walks into your home that this is how you live now. Not apologetically. Not quietly. Loud and on the wall.
The most understated rebellion available to a sober person is hanging a cocktail print on a kitchen wall where a wine rack used to live.
