The Internet’s favorite sober Mom, Kim Bellas, is hosting a party, and you’re all invited! Kim Bellas, the founder of Sober is the New Cool, is hosting a Sober White Party this Friday, June 21st, at the iconic Café Un Deux Trois, located in the center of the universe, Manhattan.
Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. and lasts until around 10 p.m. For anyone who wants to meet up ahead of time and get to know the NYC sober girl gang, a walk in Central Park begins at 1 p.m.
Kim is a recovery ally who walks her talk. Ten years ago, to prove a point to her son, she stopped drinking for 3 months to show her son that it was possible. Then, she remained sober for another three months. Followed by another six months of sobriety. Bellas told us, “I found myself happier than I had been in a while. What started as an example for my son became something I decided to commit to for my son and myself.”
It’s now 2024, and we are thrilled to announce that Kim has been sober for 10 years!!! “Sobriety has changed my outlook on life for the better and has improved both my physical and mental well-being. I aim to demonstrate that a SOBER LIFE is exhilarating, and anyone can reap the benefits.”
