Calling All Sober Artists in Seattle: Recovery Design Contest

The Washington Recovery Alliance (WRA) is thrilled to announce the opening of its online store, offering everyone a chance to proudly showcase their #recoverystyle. This venture goes beyond merely selling merchandise; it’s about fostering a sense of unity and strength within the recovery community.

Their store features a range of WRA and Coalition branded merchandise, each piece reflecting the resilience and spirit of those on their recovery journey. But what truly sets their collection apart are the special edition pieces that bring forth the artistic talents of their diverse recovery community in Washington state.

In a bid to further encourage and celebrate these talents, they’re launching an exciting initiative – The Recovery Design Challenge. This competition is geared towards artists who are part of or support the recovery community. You’re invited to submit a unique t-shirt/promo design that embodies the essence of recovery.

The Recovery Design Challenge runs from now until April 30

During this period, artists are encouraged to let their creativity flow and design a piece that can be incorporated into our online shop. This is a wonderful opportunity for artists to use their talent to create something meaningful, while contributing to a cause close to their hearts.

The artist behind the winning design will not only have the honor of their artwork being featured in the WRA online store but will also receive a $250 digital gift card.

This initiative aims to amplify the voices of those in recovery, allowing them to express their journey through art. It’s about recovering out loud, without saying a word, and using art to spark conversations about recovery.

We are eager to see the incredible designs! So, grab your pens, brushes, or styluses or open up your Canva account and start designing. Who knows? Your design might just be the next big hit in our online store!

Remember, every design submitted, and every piece purchased from our store helps strengthen the recovery community. So, let’s come together, flaunt our #recoverystyle, and support each other on this journey towards recovery. Happy designing!
