Recovery Beyond is hosting a very new and exciting event. We’ve put together a Women’s Empowerment Retreat, co-facilitated by me, Sober Curator Megan Wright, Executive Director of Beyond Recovery and a powerhouse in the recovery industry, Margo Talbot. If you attended the 2023 Fundraising Event in April, you saw Margo speak about her story and her connection to nature as a healing pathway.

This October, 10 fortunate ladies will be able to attend a 4 day retreat in the Canadian wilderness. We will live in a peaceful yurt community, indulge in activities like yoga, hiking, wood chopping, fire-making, cold plunges, and forest bathing. We will educate each other on recovery concepts and skills….and we will generally learn and heal together from our experiences and connection.

Register and make your payment (considerably discounted from cost price) to secure your spot today! This opportunity is open to all folks who identify as female, in recovery, and have the ability to travel north of the border.

I look forward to spending this quality time with you!!

    The Power of Nature

We believe that nature can heal. Our retreat will help you reconnect with your inner strength and guide you through the process of healing. Our goal is to give you the tools and confidence you need to take on personal challenges, while also helping you find peace within yourself and in the world around you.

    Invest in Yourself

The Women’s Empowerment Retreat will focus on how trauma affects recovery pathways and confidence. We’ll use the natural environment as a backdrop for discussion and reflection.

This is a chance to give yourself some much-needed self-care while connecting with others who have lived experiences with resilience.

    What’s In Store

We’ll discuss concepts of recovery near the doorstep of several National Parks in British Columbia, Canada. Together we’ll explore the outdoors through hiking and forest bathing, practice yoga, and have facilitated workshops by Megan Wright and Margo Talbot.
