I’m not exactly sure when my obsession with Pinterest started. Maybe it’s my love of beautiful photographs and my love of collecting things wrapped up together. Am I a hoarder of pictures? Perhaps. I find the act of “pinning” very relaxing, whether I’m laying in bed at the end of a long day, waiting at an appointment, or just killing time.

I will create a Pinterest board about almost anything. Neon signs? You betcha. Crafts with magazines? Sign me up! DIY projects I’m never going to do? I can’t get enough of them! You can check out my account here.
Currently, I have 234 different “boards” ranging from quotes to avocados, to roller skates and more! (And I don’t even roller skate) The control I feel organizing pictures makes me feel grounded and in control. It allows me to tune out the blaring, disturbing headlines making the news or whatever drama might currently be happening in my small world. Pinning relaxes me and helps me unwind.
