Michael J. Fox’s new documentary, “Still,” is a poignant and intimate look at his life with Parkinson’s disease and battle with addiction. Following up on his previous documentary, “The Sound of Victory,” “Still” takes a more personal approach, detailing the day-to-day struggles and triumphs of living with Parkinson’s.

Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991 at the age of 29. Despite the challenges he has faced over the years, he has remained an advocate for the Parkinson’s community and a beacon of hope for those affected by the disease.

“I get it. I was big. I was bigger than bubblegum.”

Michael J. Fox

In “Still,” Fox offers a candid and unfiltered look at his life with Parkinson’s, from his daily routine to his work as an actor and activist. He also delves into the emotional toll that Parkinson’s has taken on him and his family, including the challenges of coping with the disease’s unpredictable nature.

Fox is Resilient

One of the most striking aspects of “Still” is the way it captures Fox’s resilience and determination in the face of Parkinson’s. Though the disease has forced him to make significant adjustments to his life and work, he remains committed to making a positive impact in the world. Through his advocacy and philanthropic work, he continues to inspire others and raise awareness about Parkinson’s.

“Still” is not just a documentary about Parkinson’s disease but a celebration of the human spirit. It showcases the resilience and strength that can be found in even the most difficult circumstances and reminds us of the power of hope and determination.

Overall, “Still” is a must-see for anyone interested in Parkinson’s disease, addiction, and recovery or inspired by Michael J. Fox’s advocacy and activism. It is a powerful and moving testament to the human spirit and a reminder that even in the face of adversity, we can still find joy, purpose, and meaning in our lives.
