Liquid Luck is a brand of functional elixirs designed to ease alcohol cravings and boost well-being. One thing you may already know about me — I’m a skeptic when it comes to claims like this. And, I’m not out to find a beverage to do a magic trick for me, I just want something refreshing and enjoyable to drink that doesn’t contain alcohol or a bunch of added sugar.
So I tried two of the four flavors of Liquid Luck — Mood & Focus. I should also disclose that I’m not a big fan of seltzer water. If you are, don’t let my personal tastes dissuade you from trying this brand as it may very well be your new favorite.

- Tasting Notes: Focus has a very pleasant berry-forward flavor. Both Focus & Mood, however, have a taste of chemical sweeteners.
These products promote functional ingredients such as ginger, ginseng root, ashwagandha, lion’s mane and more. How much of these ingredients does one need to consume to have a health benefit? That’s a question for the neuroscientists at Reframe, the company creating these beverages. Which is a curious connection as Reframe promotes themselves as an alcohol-related habit change app.
After further reading on Reframe’s website, I’m left with more questions than answers about their line of elixirs. But I tried them with an open mind and a healthy dose of freshly squeezed lime juice. Although Liquid Luck didn’t make the mark for me, my quest for balanced non-alcoholic beverages continues.
