Kick up the drama, Liza with a Z, with your garnish, and stack that rim for picture-perfect, thick drip, deliciousness!
On this, Just a Merry Mocktail Monday, I’d like to introduce you to the world of thick-rimmed mocktails! This trick can be used with a variety of ingredients but the key is to make sure your sticking component has a thick viscosity. I used Chamoy with Tajin in this photo but you can choose honey and sugar for the rim if you’d like. As long as you have your sticky and your flavor ingredients worked out, you’ll be ready to take that photo for the gram and then enjoy the bursts of flavor!!
Warning – too much can be a little overpowering. My advice would be to make sure your mocktail recipe matches the rim intensity or you might overtake the vibe. This chili salt rim is PERFECT for a NonAlc Michelada but maybe not for a light gin fizz. Although, I won’t tell you how to live your life… Enjoy your bevy however you’d like! It’s only a suggestion.
