Welcome to the Classy Problems weekly mash-up for Monday, March 24, 2025 – Sunday, March 30, 2025
Classy Problems is a daily post of thinking in motion by Dan T. Rogers. Each post stands alone as a thought-provoking piece, yet together, they create a puzzle of ideas. They invite you to see things from a different angle, rethink what you thought you knew, and explore what’s beyond your current understanding.

Locate Yourself
Classy Problems is not just a collection of concepts. It’s a map — reference to locate yourself inside our semiotic.
You don’t need to consume the whole thing, just find where you are and what’s next. Such is the case in all forms of classy problems.
It’s not about finishing. It’s about beginning by trusting your attention and following what’s indicated.
Have you visited Classy Problems?

All We Have Is A Beginning
here is no final version. Only the next iteration, the next choice, the next step forward, the next version of next.
The pursuit of closer to right isn’t a pursuit towards done. It’s embracing the beginning that each moment provides.
Chasing done and holding onto the illusion of completion limits what’s possible. Seeing every outcome as a starting point shifts stuck into unstuck.
The best work, the best ideas, the best versions of ourselves all come from continuously beginning again.
Every next is built on the courage to leave the known.
What next are you willing to begin today?

Relationship To The Whole
Being a part of a system is about finding our place within it.
Parts in a system are understood not in isolation, but in relationship to the whole.
We are always inside of a system. It’s not a matter of choice, it’s a matter of awareness. We are always a part, not apart from.
Are you relating to the whole or a part?

The Story of Us
Us begins with the recognition that we are more than individuals. It is a collective identity beyond ‘me’ and ‘you’. It’s an emotional bond that fosters unity and belonging. It’s a physical presence or gathering that represents connectedness and the spaces where connectedness thrives.
Us isn’t just about proximity; it’s about connection and shared purpose. It’s in the collective that we find support, strength, and the opportunity to create something bigger than ourselves.
Where are you an us?

Looping Awareness
A pattern unnoticed is a loop.
The challenge isn’t in its repetitive nature but that it’s a pattern we are not aware of.
We react the same way, follow the same cycles, and mistake motion for progress.
The way out of a loop is to name it; to intentionally review what we believe to be true through the actions we take.
What are your actions saying about your loops?

Focus on Awesome
What we focus on demands our attention.
When we focus on what’s broken, we are focusing on what’s missing.
When we focus on what’s awesome, we are focusing on what’s here.
Focusing on awesome isn’t ignoring what we perceive to be wrong, it’s commanding our attention toward amplifying closer to right. Or in a word, awesome.
Are you focusing on awesome?

New Heights, New Moves
The strategies that took us to one level won’t get us to the next. What worked before was built for a different environment.
When we hold on to what worked before, we become stuck in attempting to repeat past successes.
What got us off the ground won’t get us to the top. New moves are required. Development is required.
Development is pulling in the current conditions to take indicated action. It’s about aligning up to the environment provided. Not aligning down to previous experiences.
What are you holding on to that no longer serve your current environment?

What is a classy problem?
A classy problem is when we’ve been afforded the opportunity to figure out what to do. When faced with classy problems, it is more effective to focus on what NOT to do than trying to figure out what to do. In a word – restraint. Join us in exploring the distinction between what to do and what not to do in the pursuit of clarity.

THE INTENTIONAL COURSE: Busy, but not better? Feeling overwhelmed by the demands on your time and energy, always half a step behind, and stuck in life’s unsolvable puzzle, full of complexities, challenges, and opportunities? That’s what we call ‘too much toomuchness.’ The Intentional Course is a response to that puzzle. Those who have been successful in the course acknowledge that change is inevitable but that they want change to lead to better — to real, lasting progress.
The course is a 3-part virtual series, where we meet for one-hour sessions to transform how we interact with the too much toomuchness. It’s where we don’t confuse busy with progress. What to expect:
- A supportive community of others also navigating the unsolvable
- Interactive group discussions, breakout rooms, and live Q&A
- Practical tools to align your thinking, planning, and acting
