    If you’ve hung around The Sober Curator for a while, you know I’m all about building a life that feels good on the inside—not one you’re constantly trying to escape from. But here’s the deal: even after years of sobriety (almost 19 for me!), I still catch myself slipping into old patterns. Overcommitted. Overthinking. Overwhelmed by the too much toomuchness of life in 2025.

    Sound familiar?

    That’s exactly why I started taking The Intentional Sidekick courses. And it’s why, three years later, I’m still showing up for them. Every week. One hour. Because this is the practice that’s helping me actually move the needle on things I spent years just talking about.

    So… What Are These Courses?

    The Intentional Course | Navigating the Unsolvable is the foundation of The Intentional Sidekick experience. It’s a three-part series that walks you through:

    1. Stories – How to own your truth, stop working transactionally, and start showing up in a way that aligns with who you really are.
    2. Relationships – How to navigate the people in your life with courage (not control), and finally stop the exhausting cycle of forcing things to work.
    3. Connections – How to take ownership of your next chapter and act with purpose instead of perfectionism. (Perfectionists, I’m looking at you… and also at me.)

    Each session is an hour-long, interactive, gentle reflection space that helps you get clear on what actually matters. No hustle. No overwhelm. Just an invitation to slow down and think about what you’re thinking about.

    Anyone in sobriety who wants to go deeper. Whether you’re newly sober or a seasoned vet like me, these courses help you find clarity in a noisy, fast-moving world. Professionals, parents, creatives, leaders—it works for anyone ready to show up and participate.

    For me? It’s been a lifeline back to intentional living. I’ve been able to stop spinning my wheels on big ideas and finally take real, meaningful action. Things I talked about for years? I’m doing them now.
