Sober Curator Contributor – Dallas, Texas, USA
Lisa C. is a proud, 5th generation Texan currently residing in Dallas. She’s a graduate of Texas Tech University and a savvy media strategist. Lisa thrives on finding the perfect solutions for her clients. Lisa keeps her finger on the pulse of all things new and hip. She naturally gravitates to fellow movers and shakers inside and outside of the recovery community.
Loves Living Life to the Fullest!
Lisa’s need to experience all that life has to offer as soon as it is available and first whenever possible has made her the “go-to” outing, party and event planner for all friends and family. Her recommendations are solid and she has many happy and repeat “clients.” Her professional background includes event management, sponsorship sales and public relations.
Cooking, live music, art and photography, are just a few of Lisa’s many passions. She’s an avid world traveler who’s visited 38 countries, 35 states and 6 continents. Lisa is just getting started on her always growing bucket list of places to explore. And she hopes to hit Australia, her 7th continent, in 2025.
When She’s Not Traveling…
When she’s not racking up airline miles, Lisa spends time enjoying live music, learning The Enneagram, going to festivals, adding to her street art photo collection, walking the Katy Trail, volunteering, or cheering on The Dallas Stars. Lisa’s friends, church community, home group and big Italian family are her priorities.
But for the Grace of God, Lisa has been blessed with the gifts of sobriety since May 26, 2014. As an active advocate for recovery, Lisa serves on the Advisory Board for Drug Prevention Resources, sponsors alcoholic women and volunteers for The Magdalen House, Shatterproof, and Dallas 24 Hour Club. She is also a member of the jail team and regularly carries the message to incarcerated women of Lew Sterrett Justice Center in Dallas, Texas.
