Have you ever purchased too much fruit at the grocery store? Realizing after some time that it’s past the point of eating but not quite ready to get tossed into the compost? I got an idea for ya!!

This week on Just a Merry Mocktail Monday, let’s turn your turning fruit into sensational delight! Nobody’s got time for food waste! One thing you can do is prep the fruit and throw it in the freezer for a future wellness smoothie OR you can whip it into a wonderful margarita. So, grab the blender, some chips, and salsa, and let’s get to mocktail making!

 Blended Strawberry Mock-a-Rita! 

(I opted to leave out the added sugar. You can add a little sugar to sweeten up the deal!) Using fresh ingredients in your creations is a sure way to get some vitamins for the day (in a most delicious way)! In this case, using strawberries, you’ll get vitamin C and some helpful antioxidants! What a great way to give old fruit a new purpose!
