Recovery Kundalini Yoga Seattle

Recovery Kundalini Yoga

We encourage participation in each Saturday of the 7-class series; drop-ins are also welcome. Sign up for one class at a time here.
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Come join us for some joyful dance jams and quiet meditation. Calm your nervous system. Come home to your Self.

Guided by Karn Junkinsmith, Recovery Kundalini weaves the cognitive tools of the 12-step programs with the somatic and sound basics of Kundalini yoga, moving us into freedom and serenity.

Recovery Kundalini yoga supports returning to wellness from all manner of unhealthy behaviors. There is no aspect of the human condition in which this practice cannot be applied.
Addictive behaviors as defined by 12-step programs are three-fold, affecting body, mind and spirit:

-A phenomenon of craving
-A mental obsession
-A spiritual sickness

NOT simply a substance use ‘disorder.”

Kundalini yoga yokes all three sides of the recovery triangle with

-Pranayama (breath/spirit)
-Kriyas (movement/body)
-Kirtan (chanting/mind)
-Gong sound baths (rest/healing integration)

All are welcome. Pay what you can .

8-class series; and, drop-ins are welcome.
