National Lemonade Day

National Lemonade Day, celebrated annually on August 20 (with some local events in May), empowers youth to become entrepreneurs by operating lemonade stands. Founded in 2007 by Lisa and Michael Holthouse, the initiative teaches financial literacy, business planning, and philanthropy, encouraging kids to “spend some, save some, and share some” of their profits.
