Freedom in the Trees – A Recovery Retreat

Freedom in the Trees – A Recovery Retreat
This full weekend retreat is dedicated to the recovery community. Mind body, spirit, with a sense of adventure.
Freedom in the Trees: A Recovery Adventure Weekend
Freedom in the Trees is a one of a kind camp style retreat designed for members of the recovery community who want to deepen their connection to others, experience the outdoors, and challenge themselves in new and meaningful ways.
Held at the beautiful New Frontiers adventure campus in Tennessee, this weekend invites participants to step outside the familiar and into an environment where growth, courage, and fellowship come naturally. Throughout the retreat, guests will have the opportunity to take part in high ropes adventures, low ropes team challenges, and zip line experiences led by trained facilitators. These activities are designed to inspire trust, willingness, and the kind of courage that recovery asks of us every day.
Beyond the challenge course, the weekend will be filled with great food, live music, campfire conversations, and intentional moments of recovery connection. Members of the recovery community will share experience, strength, and hope through informal gatherings and fellowship opportunities that encourage meaningful conversation and lasting friendships.
Freedom in the Trees is about remembering that recovery is not only about staying sober. It is about learning how to live fully. It is about trying new things, leaning into community, and discovering that the freedom we find in recovery allows us to grow in ways we may have never imagined.
Whether you are early in recovery or have many years of sobriety, this retreat offers a space to reconnect with the joy of fellowship, the beauty of the outdoors, and the shared journey that brings us together.
Registration includes all lodging, meals, and retreat activities throughout the entire weekend.
To help you get the most out of the experience, please consider bringing the following:
• Headlamp or flashlight

• Comfortable all weather clothing
• Good shoes suitable for outdoor activity
• A yoga mat if you have one

This weekend is meant to be immersive. Participants are encouraged to unplug from their normal routines and spend as much time as possible in retreat mode, connecting with the activities, the environment, and the fellowship around them.
