Sober Sports brings together three people, on three continents, who swapped the drink for the thrill. They’ll get into what changed when they started playing sober: the focus, the friendships, the 6 a.m. tee times you actually show up for.

This is one of the most international gatherings we’ve hosted at BACKSTAGE. Our guests are dialing in from the U.S., France and Australia. Somebody’s having coffee, somebody’s winding down for the night, and nobody is ordering a round.

Corey Davis, Founder of SOBA Golf (United States)
Corey got sober at 22 and has more than 15 years of continuous sobriety. He picked up golf in 2020 and took his handicap from 30 to 4 in four years, which tells you everything about what sober focus can do. He founded SOBA Golf to give sober, sober-curious and wellness-minded golfers a community of their own, with local events, retreats and a podcast.

Ben Coombes, Founder of Soberski (France)

Bianca Criaco, Electric Skateboarder and Wellness Educator (Australia)
Bianca is a Pilates instructor, wellness educator and host of The Choice Podcast, based on the Gold Coast. She found electric skateboarding in recovery. In August 2026 she competed at Australia’s electric skateboard nationals as one of only two women in the field, nine days before her one-year sober anniversary. She’s also a contributing author to When Women Finally Speak.
