Uncovering the Path to Sobriety: App Review of the Brand New Uncovery App

I am so excited to be doing this new app review and even more excited about the app itself, mainly because this is the kind of support I could have used when I was #sobercurious seven years ago. It is so important to lessen those feelings of aloneness and to find a safe space to ask questions about changing one’s relationship with alcohol without feeling judged. With The Uncovery App, when you decide to leap into ‘uncovery’ of yourself, you already have a community of sober besties to vent, vamp, and be victorious with. The Uncovery App officially launches in July 2024, and it is packed full of opportunities to learn, be inspired, connect, be motivated, and find sisterhood.

The app is by Lindsay Sutherland Boal, the founder of She Walks Canada: “a thriving Alcohol-Free global collective.” You have to check out Lindsay’s Lesson on how interrelated walking and leaving alcohol behind really can be!

Lindsay has been mentored by the best (e.g., Jay Shetty! Um, helllooooo!). The production and feel of the content are highly elevated. As you can see on her IG videos, Lindsay’s warmth is contagious. She draws you in and makes you feel understood, at home, and safe to voice your issues. The calendar alone is so beautiful you will want to print it out for your wall, and the guest list is also impressive. You don’t want to miss out on what this community has got going on.

    Can you tell I’m excited?

There are categories of teachings, inspiration, and a masterclass upsell.  Everything is beautiful, fresh, and thoughtfully selected.  I particularly love how the app sets you up for success with the “4 Things to Have Already In Place” suggestions. Overall, it offers just enough to stay engaged and supportive without being overwhelming.  It works well with short inspirational videos that keep you returning for more.

Here is a sneak peek of some of the things inside:

Learn to Live Alcohol-Free: Addressing common questions about sober curiosity and sobriety. Topics include shifting social circles, navigating relationships, and leaving alcohol behind in a culture that glamorizes drinking.

Monthly Content: Find all recorded content associated with the monthly theme, including the guest speaker series, conversation series, and Q&A sessions.

Pocket Pep Talks: Access pep talks on familiar themes, such as changing social circles, relapse, and staying on track.

52 Essential Questions: Reflect on thought-provoking questions about your past, present, and future, designed to help you think beyond sobriety.

Shop: Purchase the specially designed journal, or register for the transformative 21-lesson core values and principles masterclass.

So, if you are sober curious and looking for sisterhood, check it out and let us know what you think! We are recommending it for the sober curious or those of us who are simply reconsidering our relationship with alcohol.

“The Uncovery App is a safe place to experience the joyful, vibrant, fulfilling life you crave, know you deserve, and that more and more women worldwide are discovering!”
