Anne Buck has combined her passions for beating cancer, eating healthy, and helping addicts to bring us the most unique, delectable, and guilt-free glazed nuts out there. She joined forces with Co-Founder, Rainer Twiford, and together they formed Williams + Worthy, a company dedicated to delivering an exquisite, hand-crafted product with a story.
What’s the Story?
Anne is a stage 4 breast cancer survivor. The Williams + Worthy recipe is a result of her extensive research and strong desire to increase her chances of survival with a nutrient-dense diet. Both Anne and Rainer have experienced the heartbreak of addiction in close family members. Tragically, Rainer lost his son, Will, to an accidental overdose. The “Williams” is to honor him and a second young man named William who also died from an accidental overdose. Anne has a close family member who is now in recovery. Their strong faith in God and His ability to transform lives drives the company’s purpose, which is to help addicts get help. The “Worthy” was added to the name because Anne and Rainer believe that every addict is worthy of our love and support.
But What Do These Nuts Taste Like? Are They Good?
YES! YES! YES! They are outstanding. The product speaks for itself. Each nut has the perfect balance of 19 spices and herbs, a delicate, crispy crunch, and a hint of sweetness complemented by a touch of savory. They do have a bit of kick (as in kick cancer’s butt) that leaves you coming back for more. And it’s dang near impossible to eat just one so don’t bother trying. A minimum of 35% of profits are given to provide stipends for scholarships at various male, female and co-ed drug and alcohol treatment centers that have proven treatment methods, higher long-term recovery rates, low relapse rates, high approval ratings, and strong alumni follow up.
