#ADDTOCART: Spiritual Gangster: The Conscious Clothing Line

In the sprawling landscape of fashion, where trends come and go with the changing seasons, one brand stands tall with a mission that transcends the ephemeral whimsies of style. Enter Spiritual Gangster, the lifestyle brand that has transformed from a humble yoga studio house label into a global phenomenon. It’s more than just a clothing line — it’s a movement and a community. And for those you on the journey to recovery from alcohol and substance use disorder, it’s a subtle way to recover out loud.

Founded in 2008 by acclaimed yoga instructors Vanessa Lee and Ian Lopatin, Spiritual Gangster marries ancient wisdom with contemporary culture, crafting elevated products for the modern wellness enthusiast and fashion lover alike. Each collection is thoughtfully designed with intention and purpose, infusing inspiring messages into every piece. Their goal? To create a high vibration community fueled by wellness, love, positivity, and joy.

A Spiritual Gangster is not defined merely by their choice of attire but by their mindset — engaged, rebellious, free-spirited, and alive. They are knowledge seekers, experience hunters, givers before takers, planting seeds of abundance wherever life takes them. With gratitude and creativity at their core, they are agents of radical inspiration, consistently working to build a community that motivates meaningful change, inspires love, and lives in unity with the world around them.

The brand’s ethos aligns seamlessly with the principles of recovery — integrity, karma, and raising one’s vibration. Whether it’s through yoga, art, music, or altruism, Spiritual Gangster empowers individuals to find their own path to raising their vibration. This alignment makes it an ideal brand for those in recovery, offering not just stylish clothing, but also a supportive community and a powerful message of strength and transformation.

Spiritual Gangster’s commitment to uplifting communities extends beyond their product line. As a business practice, they regularly partner with charities and nonprofits to bring wellness, love, and abundance to as many lives as possible. Each purchase made on their website contributes to this mission. In collaboration with Feeding America, Spiritual Gangster donates proceeds from each sale, providing meals to underserved communities across the United States. With over 15 million meals donated to date, they are collectively working towards the eradication of hunger in their communities.

In an industry often criticized for its superficiality, Spiritual Gangster emerges as an authentic voice, championing the power of high vibration living and serving as a testament to the transformative power of living your best life. An embodiment of the saying “fashion with a purpose,” Spiritual Gangster is more than a brand — it’s a lifestyle, a movement, a community. It’s a beacon of hope for those of us in recovery and a reminder that we are connected, we are one, we are the same.

SPIRITUAL GANGSTER: Welcome to the ‘Spiritual Gangster’ wing of The Sober Curator, a haven for those on a sober journey with a twist of spiritual sass. Here, we invite you to plunge headfirst into a world of meditation, astrology, and spiritual reflection – all while keeping your feet (and sobriety) firmly on the ground.

Each month, our very own Analisa Six, better known as the Lady of Leosure, graces us with ‘The Sobercast with Six.’ It’s like horoscopes, but with less hocus-pocus and more sober reality checks for the coming month. And let’s not forget Daniel G Garza, or as we affectionately call him, ‘The Card Divo.’ He delivers snappy, under-a-minute weekly sober tarot card readings that’ll have you saying, “Hit me with another round…of cards!”

The newest star of this spiritual show? That’s Derek Castleman, our resident ‘Sober Stoic.’ After finding enlightenment in the Serenity Prayer and its connection to the Steps, he realized stoicism wasn’t just about keeping a stiff upper lip – it was a roadmap for leading a fulfilling life, no matter the roll of the dice.

SOBERCAST WITH SIX  brings you astrology updates from our resident astrologer, tarot card reader, and Sober Curator Analisa Six.

THE CARD DIVO brings quick-hitting and intuitive horoscopes for sober people on the go. (Seriously, 1-minute once a week)

THE SOBER STOIC Sober Curator Derek Castleman is a writer, educator, scientist, data analyst, and philosopher. Struggling with drug addiction and alcoholism for over fifteen years while at the same time suffering from being bipolar, he was finally able to achieve recovery in 2018. From mental hospitals to rehab, county jail to sober living, 12 Step Programs would be his foundation, but he would eventually discover the path of Stoicism to be the key to his sobriety and sanity.

ALTAR & EGO explores topics surrounding recovery, spirituality, and mental health. We hope you will consider this section of our site as food for your sober soul. Brought to you by Sober Curator Staci DesRault

THE DAILY LLAMA brings you short, one-word weekday meditations for your complete wool-being! Brought to you by Sober Curator Staci DesRault
