Get Your Cherry Sour Cherry Bomb On With This Delicious Recipe From DRY Rainier Cherry Botanical Bubbly

Here’s to Zero-Proof Partying! We taste-tested DRY Rainier Cherry and we aren’t mad about it. If you love cherries with a hint of sour, then you’ll want to add this alcohol-free bevie to your next Happy Every Hour.

Here’s to Tuesdays! That’s what you’ll find on the packaging of the DRY Rainier Cherry 12-pack. Their claim? Four ingredients plus a good attitude.

CHERRY SOUR CHERRY BOMB RECIPE CARD:

DIRECTIONS:

In a shaker tin or pint glass mix grenadine lemon juice, cherry syrup, Dry Rainier Cherry Botanical Bubbly, and ice. Stir until cold and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with cherries and a lemon wedge.

Not down with a chilled coupe glass? That’s ok! We love to celebrate our Happy Every Hour with fun, novelty glassware.

I spent a Saturday with my bestie Erin (she’s a *normie BTW) trying out all of the DRY Botanical Bubbly recipes. We thought it would be fun to give you the perspective for each recipe from someone in recovery (aka alcohol-free.) That would be me. And someone who doesn’t (need to) refrain from alcohol use (aka the “normie”.) That would be her.

*Not sure what a normie is? It’s a slang term that those of us in recovery use to describe people that do not suffer from alcohol addiction or alcohol use disorder. Want to read up on this subject? Check out this article from The Fix, they claim to be the world’s premier website about addiction and recovery.

TASTING NOTES:

Alysse (ME): “Do you want to cheat and use lemonade for this one?”

Erin (BESTIE): “No, Alysse. If I’m bartending, then I’m bartending right, whether it’s dry or not, we deserve to do it right.”

Erin is my friend that follows the rules and knows the details. She’s also the one, of the two of us, that really knows what she is doing in the kitchen and behind “the bar”. These are just a few of the reasons we get along so well. We balance each other out. Flying by the seat of my pants, I tend to look for corners to cut and skim when I’m reading something. Erin thinks strategically and pays closer attention to the details. I hope if you are like me that you are lucky enough to have an Erin in your life. She keeps me grounded when I get a little too far up in the clouds.

Alysse (ME) Notes: You will not want to brush your teeth and then drink a Cherry Sour Cherry Bomb.

Erin (BESTIE) Notes The sour bombs you, but at least I’m not getting bombed! The lemon and cherry hybrid is what is giving it the kick. (Maybe cut back on lemon juice?)

“The sour bombs you, but at least I’m not getting bombed!”

– Erin the bestie aka the “normie”

IT’S GOOD TO LIVE THE DRY LIFE!
