The Italian Pilsner From Untitled Art Beverage Company Is A (Non-Alcoholic) Beer’s Beer

Untitled Art Beverage Company comes to us from Waunakee, Wisconsin. This company is unique as it works as sort of a collective. They have contributing “beverage artists” and contributing visual artists. Untitled Art uses the recipes and makes delicious beers and seltzers and each can is adorned with the art of an independent artist. They have an entire division of non-alcoholic beer and a pretty unique and delicious selection of non-alcoholic beers to choose from.

This week we’re drinking Untitled Art’s Italian Pilsner. This style of beer used to be the go-to beer for any brewery worldwide, but as craft beer and the rise of hoppy flavor took over, a good pilsner is harder and harder to find in the craft beer world, even harder in the NA craft beer world.

How Does it Pour?

This Italian Pilsner from Untitled Art pours clear and crisp with a nice white head on it. The balanced aroma of malt, hops, and barley creates a scent reminiscent of the pubs of yore (see “days of yore”). The beer is a beautiful light golden color with fun little bubbles rising to the surface to release its aroma.

How Does it Taste?

The flavor is reminiscent of so many great beers that have come before it. Untitled Art really captured the pilsner taste in this beer and it is comparable to some of the best ones out there. I immediately think of Peroni, who may hold the award for most widely distributed Italian beer in America, and it even has hints of flavor that remind me of Stella Artois, as well. The flavor is crisp and bright and it has a clean finish. This is a beer’s beer.

I want to give this to everyone that wants to just chill and have a beer. I think Untitled Art is always tapping into these missing areas in the NA beer world, first with their Chocolate Milk Stout (review coming soon) and now with this Italian Pilsner. Ciao!
