What More We learned. What Did You Learn? WARNING: Swag Included.

The first learning I shared is quite frankly

the bigger of all the takeaways.

It’s by far the most useful.

    The most applicable.

    AND …

The level of clarity that I have today

versus what I had 365+ days ago is off the charts.

    Clarity comes with consequences.

    With implications.

    With action I can’t avoid.

    I didn’t expect that clarifying

what I believed to be true

    would ripple through everything else.

    But it did.

    That kind of clarity

    is available to everybody.

    You don’t need a website.

You could write an email to yourself every day.

You could do a weekly review.

It doesn’t have to be big.

It just has to be reviewed.

Not “set it and forget it.”

    Reviewed.

    Referenced.

    Returned to.

To see if what your actions

    reflect what you believe.

    In a post-survival world,

in the space that has been provided,

that feels like one of the

most honorable things I can do.

    I still improvise.

    Make mistakes.

    Act in selfishness.

    I’m working on that.

    With intention.

    Development isn’t about being perfect.

    Perfection is a preference.

    It’s about being honest.

    If you’ve been with us

    on this journey… thank you.

Thank you for the gift of your attention.

Even if it was just moral support.

    That matters.

But if any of this made you think,

    helped you act on indication,

we would love to hear it.

I’ve hoped that I could be strong reference,

that Classy Problems has become strong reference.

Maybe it tells you exactly what not to do.

Maybe it argues with your brain

    in the best way.

Maybe it validates what you know to be true.

    That would be awesome.

    That would hit the target.

If that is the case, we want to hear about it.

What did you learn in the last 365+ days?

Whether it was because of us or not,

    we want to know.

There’s a reason we have a restraint that says,

Don’t be arrogant – copy off the most effective.

We believe in copying off the smartest kids in class.

    Everything is class.

I reserve the right to learn more than you.

    Graffiti Classy Problems NEW

Classy Problems is a daily post of thinking in motion by Dan T. Rogers. Each post stands alone as a thought-provoking piece, yet together, they create a puzzle of ideas. They invite you to see things from a different angle, rethink what you thought you knew, and explore what’s beyond your current understanding.

What is a classy problem? A classy problem is when we’ve been afforded the opportunity to figure out what to do. Time to figure it out. Time to practice. Time to discern. When faced with the time to figure out a classy problem, it is more effective to focus on what NOT to do than trying to figure out what to do. In a word: restraint. JOIN US in exploring the distinction between what to do and what not to do in the pursuit of clarity.
