Recovery Rocks Podcast Wins the Gold at the Signal Awards

Recovery Rocks Podcast hosts Lisa Smith, and Tawny Lara brought home the GOLD in the Best Buddy Podcast category at the Signal Awards. And according to the Signal Awards, podcasts are everything. We listen to them while we commute, work, eat, exercise, meditate, sleep, and even procrastinate with them. They’re unobtrusive, highly disruptive, uncannily authentic, stupid smart, and reliably surprising. Podcasts are the voices we’d rather have in our heads than our own.

ABOUT SIGNAL AWARDS

The Signal Awards seeks to honor and celebrate the people and content that raise the bar for podcasting.

Luminaries and leaders within the industry will judge Shows, Limited Series & Specials, Individual Episodes and Branded Shows & Advertising across categories ranging from Best Innovative Audio Experience to Best TV & Film Recap. See all categories here.

About Recovery Rocks Podcast:

Co-hosted by recovery advocates Lisa Smith and Tawny Lara. A rock and roll-loving Gen X lawyer in 12-step recovery from addiction to alcohol and drugs. An equally rock-obsessed Millennial writer who found addiction recovery through blogging. Give them a couple microphones and you get the Recovery Rocks podcast, a new kind of discussion about the issues impacting those who struggle and recover, reflecting different perspectives, but finding much in common.

Sober Curator Pro Tip: The Recovery Rocks podcast was one of our very first blog posts here at The Sober Curator back in August 2020. You can read about it here: A Sober Girls Guide, Recovery Rocks, and Recovery Survey (thesobercurator.com)
