Ashley is a grateful recovered Alcoholic. Originally from Portland, Oregon, she has dug her heels into the “Land of 10,000 Treatment Centers”. She received an associate degree in Addiction Counseling from Minneapolis College, the oldest addiction counseling program in the United States, and became heavily involved in their Collegiate Recovery Program.

She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Metropolitan State University, where she completed coursework to become a Certified Prevention Professional. Ashley currently works as a Licensed Substance Use Disorder Counselor in the Twin Cities area.

Ashley believes regular exercise and nourishing the body with good food and nutrition are critical components of a healthy lifestyle and over all well-being. In August 2021, she joined Farrell’s Extreme Body Shaping, where she attends kickboxing and strength training classes. Joining Farrell’s sparked her passion for fitness and nutrition and is one of the best decisions she has ever made, second to getting sober.
