Founded by a former fashion publicist and stylist, Desiree spent over a decade building brands in the fashion and luxury market in London, NYC, and LA. Headquartered in New Orleans, LA, the city is the source of inspiration for the bon vivant nature of these sassy party balloons. Before Covid, throwing large-scale events was a big part of my day job. After a decade running a city lifestyle magazine, followed by five years at a TV station, I’ve made many connections in the event industry, and I’ve made even more friends. When one of my party besties DM’d me on IG to check out Badass Balloon Co., I knew it was going to be good. My friends have excellent taste.
I had to chuckle as I dug into the site. Looking over the new arrivals menu, Soberversary balloons are positioned two places down from Cannabis Queen and two places above drink pouches. And then one of those annoying shopping pop-ups took over the bottom right-hand corner of my screen saying “Drinks Well With Others”. Yep, I’m definitely in the right place. You can take the girl out of the party, but you can’t take the party out of the girl. And the best part of partying sober? No black-outs, no hang-overs, and I have never once woken up in a strange place next to someone I didn’t know. Winning!
