Happy Every Hour – West Coast IPA By Untitled Art Brewery

We are joined again by the fun fresh freaks in Waunakee, Wisconsin: Untitled Art! If this is your introduction to Untitled Art, you should know that they do alcoholic and non-alcoholic beer, but their expansion of the latter category in the last couple of years has been explosive (and delicious)!  Everything from milk stouts to sours to pilsners and more. They are a fun brewery to check out, as well, as they have local artists do each can design, creating an artistic uniqueness you can’t find anywhere else.

This week we are drinking West Coast IPA from Untitled Art. This is one of their two IPAs available, and if you are one to judge a book by its cover, this may be an instance where you find yourself being cocky and correct.

How Does It Pour?

Untitled Art modeled this West Coast IPA off of most West Coast IPAs, I imagine. Right from the crack of the can, you can smell tropical fruits all around you. It pours a beautiful clear orange color and the crisp white head dances with aromas of pineapple, mango, and more. What IU didn’t smell a lot of on the top are hops. No hops on top. Untitled Art is more like an untitled fart. Ok, that was uncalled for. I digress.

How Does It Taste?

When the liquid gold hits your lips, Untitled Art puts their best foot forward and a nice balance of many tropical fruit flavors engulfs your tongue space and you may swear you are drinking a soda. However, when the fruit falls and settles down your throat, that’s where the citrus hoppiness of the IPA lives, staying vigilant on the outskirts of your tongue and waiting to be washed away with the next sip of this tasty treat.

Untappd gives West Coast IPA by Untitled Art 3.7 out of 5, which is pretty dang good. I’ll say, it is very delicious, and most people seeking out a West Coast IPA are likely looking for this strong fruit flavor, so I say ‘right on!’ Distribution is strong and getting stronger, so check out Untitled Art wherever you get your awesome ass beverages, even if that’s the interweb.
