The Sober Curator

Sober Curator Justin Lamb Is Going Places With WellBeing Brewing, On This Week’s Happy Every Hour

We are joined again by those sweet midwestern cuties over at WellBeing Brewing in Missouri. They have been featured before for their Hellraiser Amber, Intentional IPA, and delicious Pumpkin Ale, but this time we’re hitting up another one of their top-tier 16 oz. cans.

How Does It Pour?

This week we are drinking Going Places IPA by WellBeing Brewing. It’s the second 16oz IPA from WellBeing and if can size doesn’t sell it to you, maybe these notes of love will. The beer cracks open and a familiar roasted malt and yeast smell hit the air. It’s kind of like a back of beer fridge smell, but thankfully that dank wonder doesn’t transfer to the flavor of this brew. It pours a lighter color than other IPAs and while not completely see-through, it defiantly offers more clarity than the hazy bitches we’ve seen on the scene, if you know what I mean, Jean.

How Does It Taste?

WellBeing always does a nice job of balancing the flavors of their beers and this one is no exception. It’s got a lighter hop flavor, but still enough to satisfy that hop madness you feel in your heart. The mouthfeel is also crisp and light and reminds me of happier times in warmer weather.

Untappd gives Going Places IPA by WellBeing Brewing 3.3 out of 5. I’d give it two shakes of a lamb’s tail and a swift lick on the cheek. Look into that as much as you desire. I’m always a big fan of what WellBeing is putting out there and look forward to more of their brews and CBD waters. Try any of them now and save 10% using code FRIENDREQUEST at checkout!
