Brainwashed ups their cool factor by honoring an Italian tradition of giving coffee to strangers. Here’s how they explain it: “In Naples, Italy, there’s a tradition of buying a “suspended coffee” (caffe sospeso) for someone in-need. A customer will buy an empty cup that sits on the counter until someone in-need asks for a coffee. The “Give a Cup” program honors this tradition. Give a $5 Large Cup, and every cent of your donation will support addiction recovery.”
