The Sober Curator, the premier online lifestyle magazine for sober and sober-curious individuals, is thrilled to announce the launch of the Sober Curator Podcast. Debuting on Wednesday, March 26, the podcast kicks off with five binge-worthy episodes featuring dynamic conversations with contributors from The Sober Curator, offering fresh perspectives on the culture of living life in recovery and life sans alcohol.
Hosted by media maven and sobriety advocate Alysse Bryson, the Sober Curator Podcast transforms the lifestyle content of the vibrant sober lifestyle blog into an innovative lifestyle talk show featuring voices from pathways to and through recovery. Episodes explore a wide array of topics, from spirituality and fashion to movies, TV shows, Quit Lit, and more, showing that sobriety isn’t just about absence — it’s what all the cool kids are doing.
“This podcast is a vibrant extension of our popular website, bringing together our talented contributors to dive deeper into recovery culture, lifestyle trends, and entertainment,” says Bryson. “We’re creating a dynamic space where sobriety meets pop culture, making the alcohol-free lifestyle fun, accessible, and inspiring.”
Listeners can enjoy the first five episodes starting March 26, available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Audible, iHeart, and YouTube:
- Episode 1: The Sober Curator Gets a Podcast – Host Alysse Bryson is joined by producer Tamar Routly. They discuss the origins and future of The Sober Curator.
- Episode 2: Lifestyles of the Sober (& Wanna Be Famous?) – Contributors Jason Mayo, Megan Swan, and Kate Vitela discuss life post-addiction in a tongue in cheek manner and go on a provocative tangent utter bliss of going under anesthesia for a colonoscopy.
- Episode 3: The Sober Curator’s Take on the New “Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy” Documentary – Contributors Amy Liz Harrison, Alexandra Nyman, Megan Swan, Kim Parsley, and Dr. Sarah Michaud go on a thoughtful exploration of Hollywood, addiction, and Matthew Perry’s legacy.

Some people look at a mountain and see a party. Ben Coombes used to be one of them: magnums of rosé at lunch, shots on the chairlift, and more near misses than he can count. Then he tried something nobody in a ski resort does. He did a sober season.
Now Ben runs Soberski, alcohol-free chalet weeks in Méribel in the French Alps, and he’s our newest Sober Curator contributor. Alysse and Tamar (a snowboarder, it turns out) talk with him about what happens when you keep the mountain and lose the après.
In this episode:
Ski, work, or drink: pick two. Ben’s seasons driving guests for a luxury chalet company
The sober season that became an Instagram page, then a business
The first booking came from New Jersey, and Ben thought it was a scam
Never skied? Ben’s guest who went from zero to flying around the mountain in about six hours of lessons
Private chefs, cold plunges, daily yoga, and evening workshops
The January 22 to 29, 2027 week in Méribel, and who it’s for (sober, sober curious, or just done with hangovers on holiday)
Ben’s pick for your queue: “The Gentlemen” on Netflix
Why Ben didn’t build a support group on a mountain. He built a room.
