It is a day of unity\, remembrance\, and inspiration—honoring the resilience of those in recovery\, mourning those lost to addiction\, supporting those still struggling\, and standing in solidarity with the families and friends impacted by this journey. \nCore Principles:\n• Hope & Healing: Recovery is possible\, and every step forward deserves recognition.\n• Community Support: No one recovers alone—connection and understanding strengthen the journey.\n• Awareness & Advocacy: Reducing stigma\, promoting education\, and inspiring change. \nValues:\n• Inclusion: Every pathway to recovery matters. Every individual is valued.\n• Resilience: Honoring the strength of those in recovery and those fighting for it.\n• Remembrance: Acknowledging lives lost\, holding space for grief\, and fostering healing.\n• Empowerment: Inspiring individuals to embrace their future with strength and optimism. \nInternational Recovery Day is more than a date—it’s a movement. Last year we had nearly 80 thousand participants representing 195 countries!
