VIRTUAL: Story Hour with Alex Miller: Sobriety, Spirituality, and the Power of the Outdoors
April 3 @ 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm PDT
Free
Join us for an inspiring Sober Outdoors Story Hour on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, at 7:00 PM MST, as we welcome Alex Miller, an adventure enthusiast and storyteller with a powerful journey to share.
Alex has been sober for 7 years and first connected with the outdoors at a pivotal moment in his recovery. With two years of sobriety under his belt, he ventured outside in search of something deeper—a connection, a purpose, or simply clarity about who he was. What he found was far beyond his expectations: a transformative spiritual experience in the great outdoors that changed his life forever.
Since then, Alex has been traveling far and wide, documenting his adventures through photography (@presentmomentphotographs) and sharing his passion for the healing power of nature. His story is one of discovery, resilience, and the profound impact of embracing the present moment in wild, open spaces.
During this event, Alex will take us through his personal journey, exploring how sobriety and the outdoors became intertwined and how these experiences continue to fuel his creativity and growth.
Stick around for a live Q&A session after Alex’s story, where you’ll have the chance to ask questions, connect, and dive deeper into his adventures and insights.
